The motorsports scene in Singapore is pretty much focused on F1, Formula1 and F1.
Ask anyone in orchard road to name some motorsports, u will get F1, Formula1 and F1, maybe an ocassional WRC or MotoGP.
wad happened to LeMans 24hr? the Paris Dakar? A1GP? and bla bla
why doesn't people in Singapore watch them...all of them high octane, all of them exciting, all of them fast... everything NASCAR aren't.(good thing singaporeans don't watch NASCAR oso)
Right...so u might be wondering wats NASCAR?
it stands for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing.
its where losers drive stickers laden stock car round an oval track for god-knows-how-many rounds before crashing into the side concrete walls and die.
and yes,NASCAR is founded by the good ol, Americans in America where fast food is a national dish.
so...what makes them want to drive round an oval track, spending the rest of their career/life turning left.... o.O
who knows...maybe they found it confusing to have left and right turns on the same track...
maybe that explains the handling of American cars....
erm...Michael Bay and Steven Speilberg, u guys might want to have a change of cars for Transformers 2, a Bugatti Veyron would be nice..
till then lets just stick to F1.
btw my money will be on Kimi Raikkonen for the Australian Albert Park GP 08
